Introduction

My name is Mayra Samudio, I was born in Panama City Panama and I am the Owner/Artist of Via Vay Jewelry Designs by Mayra. I hand craft Jewelry and accessories using good quality stone, pearls, finding, crystal, and including vintage material. Each item I make is uniquely one of a kind, making it an affordable piece of suitable art. My Art Journey began four years ago in the winter of 2009. I was on vacation on Lake Tahoe for a week, and I was looking to learn some new things. I have always been creative and crafty so I noticed a special on classes at a local craft store locate on the other side of the lake. I signed up for a jewelry making sessions. After that day, I knew that I really had something going on. I came back to Texas and immediately I began to order beads from different supplier. I got to the point where I had so many Necklaces, Bracelets, Earrings. I decided to apply to several craft shows. Much to my surprise I was accepted! To one of the biggest festival in Weatherford, Parker County Peach Festival! From that point on my jewelry making went from small side to a full business it is today.
